Dr Afiniki Akanet is a graduate of Warwick Medical School and a Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners (FRCGP). As a Section 12 approved GP, she brings her unique expertise in GP and psychiatry to the Grafton Suite.
With years of NHS experience in Coventry & Warwickshire and a background as a former GP partner in Oxfordshire, Dr Akanet offers a holistic and expert approach to General Practice. She is also an Assistant Professor at Coventry University, ensuring that her clinical work is grounded in academic excellence.

As a Section 12 approved GP, Dr Akanet provides accessible care for mental health conditions in the community, ensuring you receive timely medical support to manage stress, anxiety, depression and other mental health conditions.

There is no 10-minute limit for consultations at The Grafton Suite. You will get the time you need to discuss your health and well-being in a private, supportive environment.
Continuity & Care
Dr Akanet ensures seamless care by writing to your NHS GP (with your consent) for continuity of care, providing private prescriptions, referrals, medical investigations and fit notes as needed.
